Good job on the work you have done; it shows a diligently progressive work and shows that you have explored many different aspects of Second Life. I like its links with the brain and how it works with the story of Lila: An Inquiry into Morals by Robert M. Pirsig. I especially thought that the reuse of offices was interesting and unique. The collaboration process was really well worked as well. The displays of 3Ds Max modelling illustrates a thorough investigation into its forms and ideas, which you fully justified with your overarching theme of the brain, and how you have resolved the problems.
The idea was well-presented by using the function of the human brain with textures of grotesque. I like you chose brain as your model as it had similar function of trashcan; shifting ideas, keeping or discarding ideas etc. The use of texture&shape were interesting. The texture was distorted by the shape that you've created in 3d Max. It helped your object more grotesque. And the use of lines well-conveyed networking. It gave a link of your neighbour/surrounding.
You have worked a lot~Nice to see you keep trying and keep developing before the final solution was carried out. I really like your sculptie shape, looks pretty wired and random which has just matched the idea of grotesque.
The lay out for a3 sheets are neat, explained your idea step by step to all viewer.
I quite like the idea of "...relies on other people's trash and create new...'' I think this recycle idea is interesting and you could actually develop more. To make your design better, I think you can improving them by showing the whole process of "creating new'' more clearly, not just like a transporting of trash.
