Trashcan
Ideas that are discarded from my peers projects are caught in my ‘idea catcher’ and processed, resulting in some ideas being held for future use and others being passed on to my peers. Invisable elements suspended inside my trashcan enables approaching ideas, of particular sizes to be held within my trashcan and processed, while also enabling other ideas to pass through my trashcan and into a peers project.
The rezzer element in my trashcan relies on other peoples ‘junk’ to create new ideas. When a discarded idea from a peers project collides with my rezzer element, new ideas are generated and are then processed through my trashcan, in which some will be passed onto my other peers.
Ideas consume and move through the areas of space present in my trashcan.
Shape and texture for sculpted element draws on the idea and physical state of the human brain. Human brain stores information; trashcan stores information. The human brain was an idea that was explored in my grotesque poster.
